Event description

Description

On the 1st of October, 3 - 4.45 pm in the Innospace Seminar room, we will be holding the next CL4RPs meeting. Chaired by Northwards Housing CEO, Robin Lawler, it will be a chance to reconvene following the summer, discussing where people are up to on their Carbon Literacy journey, and how cross-collaboration can continue to progress this.

In the previous meeting, we discussed the current Climate Emergency, and what this means for Registered Providers. During this next afternoon, we will further discuss the faster, more decisive low carbon action needed to tackle this reality. We will also discuss the ways in which this mandate can be used to take to reluctant superiors and board members. Carbon Literacy training bridges the gap between action and engagement. In today's climate, and indeed the climate emergency we find ourselves in, urgent action has never been more necessary, starting with changing how we do things as a society. Working groups like this one can help to spearhead this change through collaboration and cooperation, bringing their own unique assets to the table.

This event is open to anyone working in the sector, whether familiar with the subject area or not (i.e. newcomers welcome and encouraged).

Please bring your own teas/coffees, we will provide biscuits :)
