Carbon Literacy for the Music Industry

About this event
ClimateEQ offers a day’s worth of certified Carbon Literacy learning that provides participants with the motivation and knowledge to enable meaningful action on the climate crisis in their personal lives, at work and in the community.
It's the first of its kind to be geared towards the environmental issues facing the music industry.
Carbon Literacy is an internationally recognised climate change awareness and action based training qualification. It offers vital climate change learning that catalyses action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
The training costs £79 plus booking fees (includes certification from the Carbon Literacy Project).
Course Details
The course is delivered in 3 separate online sessions (approx 3 hours each session) and is split into 3 modules. The online sessions are:
Tuesday 25 January, 6pm - 9pm:
Module 1: What is the Problem? (We explore the science and psychology behind climate change).
Wednesday 26 January, 6pm - 9pm:
Module 2: What are the Consequences? (We explore the impacts of climate change).
Thursday 27 January, 6pm - 9pm:
Module 3: What are the Solutions? (We explore the actions being taken locally, globally and within the music industry).

How it works
The live sessions will take place on Zoom. You will be sent the joining link following confirmation of your booking.
Please ensure you have good WiFi/internet connection and adequate equipment that enables you to fully participate in the course (it is not recommended to do the course via iPhone/Smartphone).
