This Carbon Literacy training is structured in two parts, the first being a 3 hour online module hosted on Blackboard which you can do at your own pace. This needs to be completed before the second half of training which is a 3 hour in person interactice learning session. This in person session will be 10am - 1pm Tuesday 14 October.
Within the training, you will learn and explore:
🥼What climate change is, including the science behind global wamring
📉What actions result in carbon emissions and how to actively reduce this impact
🏘️What effect climate change has globally, including social implications
🌍How we can develop a sustainable future and what that looks like

You don't need to have a climate or science based background to join this training, its open to everyone regardless of discipline or levels of experience or understanding. At the end of the training, after successful completion of the submission form, you will be certified Carbon Literate, which is a widely recognised qualification.
