Is the certificate included in the price?

Yes, the certificate is included in the price. You do need to attend the full course and complete the Evidence Form to be eligible for certification.

How long do I have to submit my pledge?

You have two weeks to submit your pledge after the second session.

How long is the course?

Accepted Answer

The course runs as two half day sessions on consecutive weeks. We start at 9:30 am and finish at 13:00 both days, including breaks.

How is the course delivered?

The course is delivered on Zoom. If you would like an in-person course delivered to your organisation, we'd love to help. Contact our team for in-person options.

Question 5

I don't know much about carbon, is this course for me?

We do start with an introduction to the basics of climate science so this course is suitable and accessible for anyone that would like to be certified as Carbon Literate. Equally, participants with lots of knowledge still report learning a good amount.

Will I definitely get Carbon Literacy certified after this training?

As long as you attend both sessions and complete the pre-reading, then yes! You'll be assessed through your Evidence Form and two carbon-reducing pledges. We'll take you through this process in session 2 and read it  through before sending off to be sure you fulfil the criteria.

I can no longer attend. Can I reschedule?

Of course! Your ticket is non-refundable however you can select a different date or transfer your ticket to someone else. If you need to change date or want to transfer your ticket, please get in touch with the team at carbonliteracy@changeagents.org.uk.
