The National Archive based at Kew in Southwest London has achieved impressive results as part of its commitment under the Greening Government (GCC) 2021 – 2025 initiative.


Overall, emissions over a one-year period were reduced by 46% compared to 2017/18.


Water consumption is down by 25% and overall waste down by 59%


The GCC target is to reduce emissions by 65% by 2030 & to reach net zero by 2050.


We will hear how this has been achieved and the plan to achieve the 2030 & 2050 targets
