Our Archive Hour series culminates with a lively in-conversation event between the distinguished critic, essayist and novelist, Gabriel Josipovici and Dr Daniela Caselli, Senior Lecturer in Twentieth-Century Literature and Culture at Manchester University. The evening will explore Josipovici's experimental fiction and launch his exciting new collection of essays on literature and culture, The Teller and the Tale.
Gabriel Josipovici is the author of sixteen novels, three volumes of short stories, eight critical works, and numerous stage and radio plays. His most recent works include Hotel Andromeda (Carcanet), What Ever Happened to Modernism? (Yale University Press) and Infinity (Carcanet, 2010). The Teller and the Tale: Essays on Literature and Culture will be released in October 2016.
Dr Daniela Caselli is Senior Lecturer in Twentieth-Century Literature and Culture at Manchester University. She is a founding member of the British Association for Modernist Studies and sits on the Editorial Committee of Manchester University Press and on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Beckett Studies. Dr Caselli has written extensively on Beckett, Dante and Djuna Barnes. She was recently elected President of the Beckett Society.
