Can I bring children to the event?

Yes, boys and girls under 12 are welcome, with some fun skills activity set up for them to enjoy! Over 12s (girls only) can take part in the track sessions. A consent form (see event description) will be required for under 18s at the event, and all under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.

I haven't ridden a bike in years and do not know much about cycling, is this for me?

Yes! We will have bikes and helmets available to borrow and experienced coaches on hand to help you develop cycling skills at your level. This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about what cycling in Cardiff has to offer!

How do I get to the event?

By car, bus, walk, cycle or train. The Maindy centre has parking at a cost. The centre is a couple of minutes cycle off the taff trail and a 15 minute cycle from the city centre.

Do I have to come for the whole thing?

No, drop it when you can or join for the whole day! Take a look at the coaching sessions and rides on offer to see what appeals to you. However, there will be plenty of activities, entertainment, food and drink to keep you entertained so we recommend making a day of it!
