This is the second meeting of the Cardiovascular Healthcare Technology Co-operative (HTC), which is based at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. The Cardiovascular HTC has been set up to identify, encourage and facilitate the development of new medical devices and healthcare technology driven solutions that will improve the diagnosis, treatment and well-being of patients with heart disease. The event will showcase the clinical research that is part of the HTC.
This is a great opportunity to find out about the exciting new technology being developed to diagnose and treat patients with heart disease. The day will consist of presentations, each being 10 – 20 minutes long with time to ask questions. The event is open to patients and service users, small and medium enterprises, industry partners, funding bodies, and colleagues from the research community including basic scientists and clinicians.
The day is a fantastic opportunity for patients from different groups to meet each other and interact with industry partners and researchers alike. The talks will be suitable for lay members of the audience. This to an open session where everyone gets to know each other and where new partnerships can be built and ideas shared.
