This seminar is open to all healthcare professionals including nurses, chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, dieticians who wish to increase their knowledge & understanding of Frailty & long term CVD conditions
Many people who have Frailty also suffer with other co-morbid Long Term conditions (LTC) and managing these multi morbid conditions can be complex. This CPD day aims to support practitioners in understanding the impact of Frailty on the Cardiovascular LTC of Diabetes, Heart Failure, Hypertension.
Aim:
To increase knowledge of Frailty in the context of other co morbid conditions and appreciate how these can be cared for effectively.
Learning Outcomes:
- To Increase Knowledge of Frailty as a Long Term condition
- To Increase knowledge of Diabetes as a LTC co-existing with Frailty
- To Increase knowledge of Hypertension as a LTC co-existing with Frailty
- To Increase knowledge of Heart Failure as a LTC co-existing with Frailty
