A draft Food Growing Strategy is out for consultation. Help us prepare a response! After contributions from two speakers on support for producing good local food we shall get our discussion going in smaller groups.

Prof Lynn Jamieson, Gracemount Community Garden, will set the scene and chair the event.
Stuart McKenzie, President of the Federation of Edinburgh and District Allotments and Gardens Associations (FEDAGA) will update us on 'Landfill to Gold - Communal Composting at Inverleith Allotments'.
Craig Nisbet, Buglife Conservation Officer, Scotland, will speak on 'Nature, bugs & food growing'.
Leonie Alexander, former Botanics Urban Biodiversity Project Officer, on 'Lauriston Farm - an urban food production hub?'
The CEC consultation is open till Monday 18 January - you can respond any time before then.
