Solihull Council has called for tenders for domiciliary care. The services include:.
- Non complex Reablement
- Domiciliary care via ISF’s or
- Managed Services
- Carers Short breaks
- Specialist Care at Home i.e. Dementia/MH/LD/PD
- Night Sitting
The tender is an open and competitive tender process and is published on the Council's e-procurement tendering portal CSW-JETS http://www.csw-jets.co.uk/
Contracts will be offered in blocks, with Solihull being split into three regions:
- South Central
- Rural and North Central
The Council will be looking for consortia / partnership bids and expect to contract with one consortium per region and contracts are expected to run from April 2017 for three years.
This workshop/ meeting will be led by David Lane at Development in Social Enterprise who have been asked by the council to facilitate consortia development meetings and aims to enable potential partners to:
- Understand consortium
- Consider the tender specification
- Identify potential partners to work with to tender
- Gain advice and guidance on developing consortia
- Gain advice and guidance of tendering and procurement processes
This meeting is the final meeting to enable potential tenderers to access the same advice and support. Three meetings on each area have already been held and this meeting will therefore discuss all three regions.
Those who've attended previous meetings are welcome to attend, as there may be other potential partners to share information with. However please note there will be no additional information available.
