Moving to a new school or college can be unsettling and challenging, but also exciting, filled with new opportunities. We want young people who are thinking about studying with us to have all the information needed to make the right choices for themselves.

Our event for care experienced young people will give you a taste of what a further education college is like. You will be able to find out about the specialist support we have on offer, as well as viewing our facilities.

We have the following two open evenings in April:

Thursday 3rd April 2025 4:30pm - 7:30pm at Freemen’s Park Campus (arrival time 4:30pm-5pm)
Monday 7th April 2025 4:30pm - 7:30pm at Abbey Park Campus (arrival time 4:30pm-5pm)

The event will cover the following:

support that can be provided to you as a care experienced young person
tour of the campus and facilities
fun team building activities to help you to get to know one another
food and drink

You are welcome to come along to the event on your own. Or you can of course come with your carer, social worker or guardian to support you.

Different subjects are offered at different campuses, so if you are interested in a particular subject or career you may wish to go to the campus where you would study. If the subject you're interested in is at St Margaret's Campus you can still come along to either of the other campuses to talk to us, so don't worry.
