Care *for yourself*: What it's like working as a self-employed carer
A taster session for setting up your own support and care enterprise.
A rare chance for local training from national experts, Community Catalysts.
This session is ideal for you if you are currently working as carer, have recently qualified, and/or have experience caring for a family member. Or perhaps you are a hairdresser, cleaner, or home-physio, interested in offering a wider range of support to your clients. This session will inspire and inform you.
Come along to this two hour session to;
Learn what being a self-employed carer involves.
Hear examples of people who have done it.
Help you decide if self employment is for you.
Low cost, but high value! We are only charging £10, to cover room hire and refreshments.
(Concessions: £2 for students, those aged 65+, and anyone on benefits. If even £2 is a barrier to attendence, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org)
Coffee / tea / sandwiches provided.
We are running two sessions; one in Hatfield in the daytime & one in St Albans in the evening, both on March 9th 2017. (Search EventBrite for "Inspiring Social Enterprise" to find the other session.)
