This course is for Staffordshire Adult Social Care Providers or providers who are commissioned by Staffordshire County Council
Learning Outcomes – Following successful course completion, trainees will be able to:
• Describe what are care plans and why are they important
• Describe why it is important to ensure the person receives the same care regardless of which care worker is on duty
• Describe why it is important to ensure that the care the person receives is recorded
• Understand how to support the person to identify and manage their care needs
• How to establish what to record in care plans
• Understand how to write effective care plans
• Care plans best practice
• Care plan reviews and working documents
Please note, by booking onto this training course you are committing to attending at the referenced date and time. Your space on this session has cost Staffordshire County Council and while there is not a cost to yourself or your organisation, public funds have been utilised to fund the training.
If you cannot attend, you can send someone in your place but we will require notification so we can update the course register.
If you are unable to attend or send someone in your place, we ask for 7 working days’ notice in order to have the opportunity to offer this space to others.
Please note if you fail to join a booked session on more than one occasion it may affect your ability to register for training in the future.

Car Parking
Please ensure that on the day you register your car registration when entering the venue, there is a tablet or QR code available in the foyer of the venue. If you don't do this you will be charged.

Refreshment's and lunch will be not be provided on the day, there is an on site café to purchase these or we recommend bringing your own.
