Career after PhD

The ‘traditional’ academic career path is challenging and the job market increasingly competitive, so it’s never too early to start thinking about what you want to do after your PhD. This interactive workshop will give you the opportunity to pose questions to a panel of previous UoN Engineering PhD graduates as well as staff who support research activity within the Faculty.

There will be an initial introduction to KTP and Fellowships and each panel member will briefly introduce themselves and their career pathway. Workshop participants will then be able to pose questions to the panel. This session is likely to be of interest to PhD students at any stage of their project

The event will include lunch for registered attendees.
