Event description

Description

  • Feeling that your career has reached a plateau?

  • Want to make a change but not sure what?

  • Feeling frustrated that others are securing promotions and exciting opportunities and you aren’t?

  • Or, maybe you know the change you want in your work-life but don’t know where to begin.

Whatever your career progression challenge, if you’re prepared to invest your: time, energy and a little of your budget, this bootcamp programme is for you.

So, if you want to make 2018 the year for you and your career, read on.

This career bootcamp takes place between November 2017 and April 2018. It's a blend of: self-study/exploration, a small-group workshop and telephone coaching.

If after reading this description you are ready to book, fantastic! Go right ahead. However, I appreciate people may also want a no-obligation conversation to ask questions before making a decision. I'd be delighted to do this, just email julie@pressurevalve.co.uk and we'll set up a call.

What’s included in this fun, yet rigorous, package?

(Answer = a lot!):

  • Pre-bootcamp call to discuss your goals and assess your suitability for the programme.

  • Your own personalised DiSC report. *

  • Your own personalised strengths report.**

  • Fun and thought provoking activities to work on, at your own pace during November 2017.

  • Attendance at an intensive one-day face-to-face group coaching workshop on SATURDAY 13th JANUARY 2018. THIS WILL TAKE PLACE IN CENTRAL LONDON. There will be a maximum of eight attendees to ensure plenty of focus on your needs. Lunch and refreshments included.

  • Pack of tools and tips to keep and refer to.

  • A surprise bonus gift!

  • Follow-up accountability emails to keep you on track.

  • Follow-up coaching call three months after the workshop, to check in on progress and successes.

What we’ll cover in the bootcamp programme:

  • Understanding your strengths and identifying how and where you can amplify them.

  • Understanding your DiSC style and how this will assist you in your career.

  • Identifying your vision, values and personal brand.

  • Exploring what ‘purpose’ is for you.

  • Exploring opportunities (whether in your current organisation, or even in a totally new field).

  • Action planning and resilience techniques to keep you motivated towards your goal.

What else do you need to know:

  • This bootcamp is a programme, not just the one-day workshop in January. It runs across a six-month period (Nov 2017 – April 2018). Therefore, to gain maximum impact, you need to participate fully in all elements: pre-workshop, during the workshop and post-workshop. The estimated time investment across the six months is 25 hours total.

  • With your commitment, you will make significant progress in this time but if you are seeking a new job, I cannot guarantee you will secure it within this period, as realistically, six months is a tight timeframe in which to achieve this.

  • You will need to complete some pre-work between 7th and 30th November 2017. It’s recommended that you allocate four hours for this (This is included in the 25 hours estimate). Failure to complete your pre-work by this deadline will void your place and you will only be refunded 50% of the programme fee (this is because costs for reports etc. will have been incurred).

  • As well as benefitting from my coaching, you’ll be supporting each other on the workshop and beyond. It’s vital that you approach this programme with a courageous, open and supportive mind.

* Everything DiSC is a personality assessment. This research-validated model helps you understand yourself and others, saving you time, energy, and money. It’s really useful and don’t worry, there are no right or wrong answers.

** The strengths report will be generated by you answering a short, online questionnaire. Your personalised report will highlight your strengths, including some which you may not realise you have!
