Career connect - The essential LinkedIn profile

We welcome back Darryl Howes for our special LinkedIn event. With developments in how recruiters utilise social media and the job market generally, a professional and up to date LinkedIn profile has moved from being a ‘nice to have’ to a ‘must have’.
In this session Darryl will work through the essential components of a compelling LinkedIn presence. With facilitated live access to LinkedIn using on-site desktop PCs, this will allow you to easily complete or update your profile on the night to make it recruiter friendly and job-search ready.

Darryl is a visiting lecturer for City University, the University of Surrey Careers Service and the ifs University College. A past elected National Executive Committee Member of The Division of Occupational Psychology of the British Psychological Society, he specialises in the use of social media to turbo-charge your career. He was nominated for the 2016 CIPD/People Management Power List for L&D professionals, naming the top 20 bloggers, tweeters and all-round social media powerhouses.
