Born from my own experience in the art world, as well as someone who went to an arts college. I decided to create this series to make art careers accessible! I decided I wanted to do applications as I hope to gather a group of passionate creatives that just need a little push!! This is a free event! Want to build your career as an artist but don’t know where to start? You don’t need a college degree to do art, and this class can teach you the beginnings of a great art career, from building a website to creating promotional materials and portfolio creation.I want this series of classes to focus on the things you need for an art career that I was never taught in school, OR if you are not able to afford school, an arts career should still be accessible to you.I have invited professionals I know to speak with the students and allow them to ask questions.Each class period, students will learn a new skill to eventually excel in their art career, no matter whether they want to do painting, design, or even become a museum curator, and more!So excited to reveal our list of creatives involved and feel free to message me if you what to get involved!
