Presentation Title: 'Career Health Check Lite'
Chrissi's presentation will provide a two hour informative career health check lite which will work through some of the most common barriers to progression for people working in the construction sector providing the tools needed to overcome them. If you feel tired of working hard for so little result, or your career has stalled and don't know how to get it back on track, or perhaps just want to know what will make the most impact when it comes to the next round of promotions. Then this event will be of interest to you.
Before founding Constructing Equality Ltd, Chrissi spent more than 10 years in the construction industry, firstly as a Setting-Out Engineer and then as a Site Manager. Chrissi is a sought after lecturer for universities and conferences counting the presentation of her own paper on Organisational Justice and Mainstreaming Equality at ARCOM 2013 as a personal career highlight. She is an Ambassador and Board member for The Chartered Institute of Building.
Chrissi successfully established Constructing Equality Ltd in 2007 and has also gained representatin on strategic boards including the image group for 20125 Construction and the Industry Leadership Group for Fairness, Inclusion and Respect. Passionate about the social and economic impact of the construction industry, Chrissi went on to complete a PGDip in Equality and Diversity, and is now in the final year of her PhD.
