This session looks at some possible routes to becoming a consultant for capacity building and sustainable development policy in industrialising countries. A highly competitive field, the speaker Jacqueline Cottrell will look at possible ways of getting a foot in the door – what worked for her, as well as has worked for others she works alongside.
The session will also describe the realities of this kind of role and the kind of working life you can expect if you opt for this kind of international career.
