Event description

Description

Do you know where your career is going? How can you take charge of your career? Do you have concerns about how your family or other external obligations could affect your career? What else might be stopping you from progressing up the ladder?

In this session, we will help you to identify and set targets for career progression.  We will show you how to plan where you take your career without losing the flexibility to seize opportunity.

In this workshop you will look at how to plan your career strategically, focusing on your strengths, learning how to spot opportunities and becoming aware of and dealing with threats. You will look at time management, career development and progression planning.

This session also explores some of the most common misconceptions, assumptions and Limiting Beliefs that many of us (men and women) experience. These include thinking that “it has to be perfect”, the “Imposter Syndrome” and shying away from taking risks in case you fail.

Through presentation and audience participation, you will learn practical tips and relevant guidance that you can incorporate into your daily routine.  You will leave the session armed and able to tackle and dismiss unhelpful internal dialogue and other self-imposed blocks so that you can take on career progressing opportunities.
