Hello!
I'm Sharon and the founder of 'Career workshop with Sharon'. I am an Exam Qualified Chartered Accountant with a degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Exeter. Over the course of my academic career, I have worked and interned with financial institutions such as JP Morgan, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Price Bailey and PwC. I currently work as a tax consultant at MHA Macintyre Hudson.
Whilst at University, I made two unsuccessful applications to PwC's graduate scheme. Prior to making a third application, I completed intensive research into graduate applications for the professional services sector. Needless to say, my third and final application was successful, and I am confident that I can pass on the gems, insights and nuggets that I gained during this phase.
Beyond my day job, I coach students on how to develop soft skills for success in the workplace. I have volunteered on several masterclasses for penultimate and final year students. Furthermore, I am a recipient of the Exeter Award and the Exeter Leaders' Award, both of which demonstrate my in-depth understanding of the job application process.
I look forward to meeting you.
