Presented by Green Lab at the London Design Festival

In an age where the idea of a "fixed" career path is fast disappearing, Careering Around invites creatives, makers, and curious minds to explore the unexpected twists and turns that shape and define creative lives.

Hosted by Green Lab as part of the London Design Festival, this event brings together a diverse group of inspiring artists, designers, writers, creatives to share their personal stories, from early sparks of inspiration to the twists, turns, and detours that shaped them and brought them to where they are today.

Through short talks, conversations, and provocations, we'll explore the idea that careers are no longer linear but are lived experiences, full of experimentation, missteps, learning, and reinvention. As Steve Jobs once said, "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards."

This event is for students, emerging creatives, career changers, and anyone seeking direction or inspiration in uncertain times. It's about embracing the unknown, finding meaning in movement, and discovering that success is often shaped by curiosity, resilience, and chance.

Come join the conversation and maybe start connecting your own dots.
