Zenith Training, in partnership with South Tyneside Council, is hosting a free three-day training program designed to help unemployed residents of South Tyneside aged 19 and over improve their skills and prepare for employment. The program is non-accredited but offers valuable, practical knowledge in key areas. All attendees must commit to attending all three days, and expenses will be paid.
Who is this for? This program is specifically for individuals who are 19 years old or older, are currently unemployed, and reside in South Tyneside. Attendance on all three days is mandatory to complete the program.
What will you learn? The program focuses on a blend of career development, practical skills, and emerging digital and life skills. The three days are structured as follows:
- Day 1: Careers, Apprenticeships & AI Skills – 13th October
This day will provide an overview of careers and apprenticeships, helping you understand different pathways into work. It will also introduce Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing importance in the modern job market, equipping you with foundational knowledge.
- Day 2: Careers, Apprenticeships & Digital Skills – 14th October
Building on the first day, this session will focus on essential digital skills. You'll learn practical abilities needed for today's workplace, from using common software to navigating online professional platforms.
- Day 3: Careers, Apprenticeships, Life Skills with Maths & English Skills -17th October
The final day is dedicated to life skills that are crucial for both personal and professional success. This includes practical applications of maths and English skills to help you in job applications, interviews, and day-to-day work scenarios.
