Speaker:

Sam Small, a University of Sheffield alumnus, is a Managing Director in Wells Fargo’s International M&A group focused on Industrials and Mining Investment Banking. He is based in London.

About the event:


Based around the acquisition of Jaguar Land Rover by Tata Motors in 2008, Sam will focus on how:

- Tata’s visionary leadership led to the continued revival of two iconic brands; and how

- M&A can drive value creation and serve the wider economy

Sam Small is a Managing Director in Wells Fargo’s International M&A group focused on Industrials and Mining Investment Banking. He is based in London.

Sam joined Wells Fargo in 2013. Over his career he has advised Boards and companies across a range of sectors (principally Industrial and Mining companies) on complex, often cross border, M&A and a variety of financing transactions.

Prior to joining Wells, Sam spent three years at Macquarie Capital (Europe) where he was Head of M&A and Head of Natural Resources. The majority of his Investment Banking career was spent at Citigroup (previously Schroders) where he held various senior positions in the European Industrials and Emerging Markets groups.

Sam is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has a law degree.
