Careers in people management

Members of the committee will present their careers in people management to student members of the CIPD.

Following this attendees will have the opportunity for a confidential one on one conversation with presenters of the event.

The CIPD Branch in North Staffordshire and South Cheshire Branch is holding an event to promote careers in people management. Branch members will share their career journeys, discussing what attracted them to the profession, the various work areas they have experienced, and what keeps them engaged in the field. The speakers come from diverse backgrounds and ages, representing small enterprises to larger organisations across different sectors. Following these presentations, there will be an opportunity for a confidential one-to-one discussion with the speaker of your choice. This event is designed for students studying people management syllabuses, anyone seeking a career in people management, or professionals looking to advance within the field. The event will be interactive and offers excellent networking opportunities.

Please park (free after 17:00) in any of the unnumbered slots of Plot 7 near the main entrance. The venue is back towards the main entrance, in Building Numbered One – University Reception/Keele Business School.
