Preeti Shetty - Head of Upshot at The Football Foundation
Since starting at The Football Foundation in 2014, Preeti has focused her efforts on proving the difference sport makes to people's lives through impact measurement and evaluation. The Football Foundation is well known for its use of innovative technology and Preeti spearheads these efforts by managing a team of people who advise and implement the use of Upshot, The Foundation's online monitoring and evaluation system to over 650 non profit organisations around the UK and internationally. A well-respected figure in the sport for development space, Preeti was named as one of 28 NextGen Leaders by the Sport Industry Group last year.
Sarah Williams - Ticketing and Membership Executive at Tottenham FC
Sarah is currently in her first year of the part-time MSc Sports Management programme at Birkbeck. She started working as an unpaid intern in 2008 and ever since has worked in the sports industry in roles at Bradford Bulls (Rugby Super League), St George Illawarra Dragons (NRL) and Tottenham Hotspur (Premier League). She will be presenting her ‘top tips’ of how to utilise internships and work placements for a career in the industry.
Jonathan Casbon - Head of Sport Development at Monterosa
Since completing his Masters in Sports Management and the Business of Football, Jonathan has gone on to work on both rightsholder and agency side in the professional world of sport. Jonathan began his career with Football DataCo, a joint venture between the Premier League and EFL, before moving to the agency side with Rightster (now Brave Bison). Jonathan recently joined Monterosa as Head of Sport Development and now focuses on supporting rightsholders, sponsors, broadcasters and agencies in driving innovative digital interaction with their fans.
