With the new Minister for Apprenticeship and Skills (incl Careers Education), Robert Halfron, expected to give a talk on careers next month and the possibility of a revised Statutory Guidance early spring 2017, Careers Live is the perfect opportunity to engage with leading thinkers in the sector about what the future holds.

For schools and colleges working with CEIAG providers and Senior Managers in Education, Careers Live 2017 is an opportunity to review how CEAIG policy is being implemented, to reflect with Ofsted about careers education in the Common Inspection Framework and what they consider ‘good’ career education and to look at what more can be done to improve quality in CEIAG design and delivery.

After Lunch you have the choice of visiting two of our four workshops.

Workshop Choices – When booking your ticket you will be ask which two workshops you wish to attend.

Workshop A

LMI – What is Labour Market Information (LMI) and where to find it? In this workshop we take a look at the different sources of LMI that are out there and share ideas on how other schools and colleges are using LMI to inform their careers choices.

Workshop B

Gatsby Benchmarking – How to use Gatsby to review and develop CEIAG policy and practice in a school or college - Presented by David Andrews OBE

Workshop C

Careers, Employability and Enterprise – Take a look at the different career resources that are out there. What does Careers, Employability and Enterprise mean and how do we measure the impact it has.

Workshop D

Measuring Impact – What is it that you want to measure and how do you measure it?

We look at researched methods of evaluation to understand and prove impact.
