Careers Live 2021 - Embedding career learning outcomes into your programme
Event Information
About this Event
In this session Professor Tristram Hooley will explore the importance of thinking about learning outcomes as a part of all careers education and guidance activities. Career education and guidance is first and foremost a learning activity, focused on helping people to understand the idea of career, themselves and the world around them. If we are going to help people to be successful career learners we need to have a clear approach to learning (a learning model) and to identify learning outcomes. In this workshop Professor Hooley will introduce the CDI’s new career development framework and explain how you can integrated it with the Gatsby Benchmarks as part of your school or college’s careers programme.
Tristram Hooley is Professor of Career Education at the University of Derby and Professor II at the Inland Norway University for Applied Science.
