Careers Wales and Arriva bus driver information event - 15 January, 2026

Arriva bus has vacancies for bus drivers at their Wrexham and Chester depots.

If you’re interested in a career as a bus driver, and want to find out more, why not come along to a free and informal session with a representative from Arriva at the Queensferry Careers Wales centre.

Session must be booked. Sessions are every half an hour between 11am and 2pm. Please select a session time between 11am and 1.30pm.

What you can expect:

• Meet with an Arriva instructor in small groups in an informal and friendly setting.

• Receive information on roles, training and career progression opportunities and take away promotional materials about the roles available.

• Find out about current vacancies.

• An opportunity for questions and answers.

• Potential to be put forward for a follow up interview.

• Careers advice and guidance from Careers Wales staff in a 1:1 setting or the opportunity to book a future appointment.

Criteria for vacancies:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Full car licence held for 12+ months.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.
• No previous driving bans.

No need for experience of large vehicles and DBS check is not required.
