About this event

Change for the better happens when people stand together and demand it.

Scotland Demands Better is our chance to come together and demand that politicians make the changes we need for a society where every household can thrive and prosper.

This non‑partisan march and rally will be held in Edinburgh on 25 October, beginning at the Scottish Parliament, proceeding along the Royal Mile to George IV Bridge and concluding at The Meadows with a rally involving music, speeches, stalls and workshops.

Carers Scotland is an official supporter of Scotland Demands Better and we will be heading up a block of carers at the Scotland Demads Better march in October. Join us to say #CarersDemandBetter!

Please note, you do not need to register here to attend the Scotland Demands Better march and rally, this page is to register people who would like to be part of a block of carers marching alongside Carers Scotland at the event.

We would also encourage you to add your name at Scotland demands better to receive regular updates about the campaign.

Organized by

Carers Scotland is a carer-led organisation established to help the hundreds of thousands of people who care unpaid for family or friends. We provide information and advice about caring alongside practical and emotional support for unpaid carers. We also campaign to make life better for carers, providing research and evidence, including the lived experience of unpaid carers, to influence policy makers, employers, and service providers, to help them to improve carers’ lives.
