Carers Drop in for Tea, Cake and Creativity

By Alison Cotton

Overview

The Arts in Nature Project welcomes carers to a friendly afternoon of tea, cake and creativity at the Victoria Pavilion, Uckfield.

All carers are invited to drop in between 2.30 and 5.30pm for tea, cake, mince pies and some creativity too.

Throughout 2025, Care for the Carers' Arts in Nature Project has enabled many carers to be creative together in beautiful places in the High Weald, South Downs and by the sea. We have made charcoal in the woods, willow structures, bramble baskets, Christmas wreaths, and tried our hand at painting, ceramics, creative stitch and monoprinting.

Thanks to our funders, all these activities have been free of charge to carers.

We are planning a project celebration and exhibition on 22nd January (save the date!) so we will be planning this if you want to contribute ideas.

See you there!
