About this event
Please join us for the launch of our new Carers Rights Day research on 25 November from 3.45pm to 5.00pm.
We’ll be outlining our latest research into carers’ perspectives about supportive employers as well as looking at the latest good practice from employers.
We are delighted that the Minister for Small Business, Consumers and the Labour Market, Paul Scully MP, will be joining us at the event which will be chaired by Helen Walker, Chief Executive of Carers UK.
The Government recently announced their intention to introduce Carer’s Leave following a very positive consultation last year. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has also announced a new consultation on flexible working and this event is an opportunity to contribute to that process.
We hope that that you will join us for the event which is being supported by Barclays LifeSkills.
At this webinar you will hear from a range of speakers including:
- Paul Scully MP, Minister for Small Business, Consumers and Labour Markets
- Helen Walker, Chief Executive, Carers UK
- Katherine Wilson, Head of Employers for Carers
- Ruby Peacock, Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Carers UK
- Darren Farnell, Head of Telephony & Support, Barclays UK
- A working carer (TBC)
