Dementia Carers’ Rights: Power of Attorney

An introduction to power of attorney, a look at the role of the attorney, and other forms of advance decision-making. An interactive online session aimed at unpaid carers in Scotland. This workshop will also be useful for volunteers and professionals working with carers in Scotland.

This workshop will look at:

  • What Power of Attorney is, and how to set it up
  • How Power of Attorney may be useful
  • Some considerations for people acting as attorneys
  • Have an awareness of other advance decision-making

This training is free. Sessions are limited to 16 participants. If you are booking as part of an organisation, we would ask that you book a maximum of two spaces for members of staff.
