Day 1 - Monday 7 February / Diwrnod 1 - Dydd Llun 7 Chwefror

10am/yb - 11.30 am/yb - A National Care Service for Wales / Gwasanaeth Gofal Cenedlaethol i Gymru

The recent Welsh Government-Plaid Cymru Co-operation agreement contains the ambition to “create a National Care Service, free at the point of need, continuing as a public service”, with an implementation plan by the end of 2023. Alongside the upcoming tax rise to raise funds for health and social care, we want to hear from you about what a National Care Service should do to improve support for carers and the people you look after, and how we can ensure carers are at the forefront of these plans for social care reform.

Mae cytundeb Cydweithrediad diweddar Llywodraeth Cymru-Plaid Cymru yn cynnwys yr uchelgais i “greu Gwasanaeth Gofal Cenedlaethol, rhad ac am ddim pan fo angen, gan barhau fel gwasanaeth cyhoeddus”, gyda chynllun gweithredu erbyn diwedd 2023. Ochr yn ochr â’r dreth sydd i ddod. codi arian ar gyfer iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol, rydym am glywed gennych am yr hyn y dylai Gwasanaeth Gofal Cenedlaethol ei wneud i wella cymorth i ofalwyr a’r bobl yr ydych yn gofalu amdanynt, a sut y gallwn sicrhau bod gofalwyr ar flaen y gad yn y cynlluniau hyn ar gyfer diwygio gofal cymdeithasol.

2pm/yp - 3.30pm/yp - Direct Payments / Taliadau Uniongyrchol

Direct payments are a way that local authorities can help to meet individual’s eligible need for care and support, or your own eligible need for support. They are a way for people to arrange their own care and support. Direct payments are intended to improve choice, control and independence for people. During the pandemic rules have been relaxed to enable individuals with the local authorities consent to use their Direct Payments flexibly to meet needs. In this focus group we want to explore solutions to the barriers of taking up Direct Payments as an option to meet care and support.

Mae taliadau uniongyrchol yn ffordd y gall awdurdodau lleol helpu i ddiwallu angen cymwys unigolion am ofal a chymorth, neu’ch angen cymwys eich hun am gymorth. Maent yn ffordd i bobl drefnu eu gofal a’u cymorth eu hunain. Bwriad taliadau uniongyrchol yw gwella dewis, rheolaeth ac annibyniaeth i bobl. Yn ystod y pandemig mae rheolau wedi’u llacio i alluogi unigolion sydd â chaniatâd yr awdurdodau lleol i ddefnyddio eu Taliadau Uniongyrchol yn hyblyg i ddiwallu anghenion. Yn y grŵp ffocws hwn rydym am archwilio datrysiadau i’r rhwystrau rhag derbyn Taliadau Uniongyrchol fel opsiwn i gwrdd â gofal a chymorth.

6.30pm/yp - 8pm/yp - Complaints: putting things right – what needs to change? / Cwynion: unioni pethau – beth sydd angen ei newid?

If you are not happy with the way you have been treated or services you receive from local authorities or health boards you have a right to make a complaint. Not all carers are sure of the complaints process or how to make a complaint. This focus group will look at what you need and what possible solutions there may be to enable you to take forward a complaint.

Os nad ydych yn hapus gyda'r ffordd yr ydych wedi cael eich trin neu'r gwasanaethau a gewch gan awdurdodau lleol neu fyrddau iechyd mae gennych hawl i wneud cwyn. Nid yw pob gofalwr yn sicr o'r broses gwyno na sut i wneud cwyn. Bydd y grŵp ffocws hwn yn edrych ar yr hyn sydd ei angen arnoch a pha atebion posibl a allai fod i'ch galluogi i symud cwyn yn ei blaen.

Day 2 - Tuesday 8 February / Diwrnod 2 - Dydd Mawrth 8 Chwefror

10am/yb -11.30am/yb - Home adaptations and aids – what is on offer and what more is needed? / Addasiadau a chymhorthion cartref – beth sydd ar gael a beth arall sydd ei angen?

There are many ways to adapt the home of the person you care for, to make it easier for you to care safely and help make the home safer and more accessible for the person you care for to help them to live as independently as possible. In this focus group we want to explore the solutions to the barriers you face in getting and using aids and equipment.

Mae llawer o ffyrdd o addasu cartref y person rydych yn gofalu amdano, i’w wneud yn haws i chi ofalu’n ddiogel a helpu i wneud y cartref yn fwy diogel ac yn fwy hygyrch i’r person rydych yn gofalu amdano i’w helpu i fyw mor annibynnol â phosibl. Yn y grŵp ffocws hwn rydym am archwilio’r atebion i’r rhwystrau sy’n eich wynebu wrth gael a defnyddio cymhorthion ac offer.

2pm/yp- 3.30pm/yp - Skills for unpaid carers – what skills are needed and how can carers be supported to get them? /Sgiliau ar gyfer gofalwyr di-dâl – pa sgiliau sydd eu hangen a sut y gellir cefnogi gofalwyr i’w cael?

Carers develop many skills that are not accredited whilst caring. Many carers could benefit from formal training traditionally given to paid care workers which could help them to care more safely for loved ones. These skills could then also translate across to develop a career in caring should a carer wish to do so. In this focus group we want to explore whether you would benefit from formal training and the challenges you need to overcome to enable you to consider a career as a paid care worker.

Mae gofalwyr yn datblygu llawer o sgiliau nad ydynt wedi'u hachredu wrth ofalu. Gallai llawer o ofalwyr elwa ar hyfforddiant ffurfiol a roddir yn draddodiadol i weithwyr gofal cyflogedig a allai eu helpu i ofalu’n fwy diogel am anwyliaid. Yna gallai'r sgiliau hyn hefyd drosi ar draws i ddatblygu gyrfa mewn gofalu pe bai gofalwr yn dymuno gwneud hynny. Yn y grŵp ffocws hwn rydym am archwilio a fyddech yn elwa o hyfforddiant ffurfiol a'r heriau y mae angen i chi eu goresgyn i'ch galluogi i ystyried gyrfa fel gweithiwr gofal cyflogedig.

6.30pm/yp -8pm/yp - Working Carers / Gofalwyr sy'n Gweithio

In this focus group we want to explore the main barriers you face in either taking up or remaining in employment. Working carers are the group most likely to miss out on information and advice and are the least likely to have any formal support at home.

However, with the appropriate support in place, working carers can balance work and care effectively and are a vital element in the Welsh economy. We want to hear from you on the support needed from employers and government that would enable you to start or continue work and progress in your careers.

Yn y grŵp ffocws hwn rydym am archwilio'r prif rwystrau a wynebwch naill ai wrth ymgymryd â swydd neu barhau mewn swydd. Gofalwyr sy'n gweithio yw'r grŵp sydd fwyaf tebygol o golli gwybodaeth a chyngor a nhw sydd leiaf tebygol o gael unrhyw gymorth ffurfiol gartref.

Fodd bynnag, gyda’r cymorth priodol yn ei le, gall gofalwyr sy’n gweithio gydbwyso gwaith a gofal yn effeithiol ac maent yn elfen hanfodol yn economi Cymru. Rydym am glywed gennych am y cymorth sydd ei angen gan gyflogwyr a’r llywodraeth a fyddai’n eich galluogi i ddechrau neu barhau i weithio a symud ymlaen yn eich gyrfaoedd.

Day 3 - Wednesday 9 February / Diwrnod 3 - Dydd Mercher 9 Chwefror

10am/yb -11.30am/yp - Hospital discharge / Rhyddhau o'r ysbyty

We know that many of you have been faced with getting a loved one home from hospital and the challenges that you have faced dealing with NHS and Social Care to ensure that you are equipped for the caring responsibility. In this workshop we want to explore solutions to what would make the process better to ensure that you are able to take on the caring responsibility safely and with the appropriate support.

Gwyddom fod llawer ohonoch wedi wynebu cael anwylyd adref o’r ysbyty a’r heriau yr ydych wedi’u hwynebu wrth ymdrin â’r GIG a Gofal Cymdeithasol i sicrhau eich bod yn barod ar gyfer y cyfrifoldeb gofalu. Yn y gweithdy hwn rydym am archwilio atebion i'r hyn a fyddai'n gwneud y broses yn well er mwyn sicrhau eich bod yn gallu cymryd y cyfrifoldeb gofalu yn ddiogel a chyda'r cymorth priodol.

2pm/yp - 3.30pm/yp - Post-pandemic local government: May 22 and beyond / Llywodraeth leol ôl-bandemig: Mai 22 a thu hwnt

In this workshop we want to explore what you think should be local government priorities after the election in May this year. We want to hear your thoughts on what local authorities must deliver and the possible solutions needed to deliver and shape services in a different way in the future.

Yn y gweithdy hwn rydym am archwilio beth ddylai fod yn flaenoriaethau i lywodraeth leol yn eich barn chi ar ôl yr etholiad ym mis Mai eleni. Rydym am glywed eich barn am yr hyn y mae'n rhaid i awdurdodau lleol ei gyflawni a'r atebion posibl sydd eu hangen i ddarparu a siapio gwasanaethau mewn ffordd wahanol yn y dyfodol.

6.30pm/yp - 8pm/yp - Nothing about us without us: How do carers achieve effective co-production? / Dim byd amdanom ni hebddon ni: Sut mae gofalwyr yn cyflawni cyd-gynhyrchu effeithiol?

The Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act expects that services for carers are co-produced and ensure that carers have a say in what services are needed. We know the barriers that carers perceive that stop them getting involved, in this focus group we want to explore the solutions that are needed to enable you to get involved and participate in a meaningful way.

Mae Deddf Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Llesiant (Cymru) yn disgwyl i wasanaethau i ofalwyr gael eu cydgynhyrchu a sicrhau bod gofalwyr yn cael dweud eu dweud ynghylch pa wasanaethau sydd eu hangen. Gwyddom y rhwystrau y mae gofalwyr yn eu gweld sy'n eu hatal rhag cymryd rhan, ac yn y grŵp ffocws hwn rydym am archwilio'r atebion sydd eu hangen i'ch galluogi i gymryd rhan a chyfranogi mewn ffordd ystyrlon.

Day 4 - Thursday 10 February / Diwrnod 4 - Dydd Iau 10 Chwefror

10am/yb -11.30am/yb - General session for feedback to Carers Wales on policy, campaigns and influencing priorities / Sesiwn gyffredinol ar gyfer adborth i Ofalwyr Cymru ar bolisi, ymgyrchoedd a dylanwadu ar flaenoriaethau

In this session we want to hear from you about what campaigns and influencing priorities you think we should be focussing on as an organisation in a devolved context that would make the most difference to the most carers in Wales. This will be an opportunity for you to have your say about what matters most to you in relation to social care, health, education and other devolved areas of Government in Wales.

Yn y sesiwn hon rydym am glywed gennych am ba ymgyrchoedd a blaenoriaethau dylanwadu y dylem ganolbwyntio arnynt fel sefydliad mewn cyd-destun datganoledig a fyddai'n gwneud y gwahaniaeth mwyaf i'r nifer fwyaf o ofalwyr yng Nghymru yn eich barn chi. Bydd hwn yn gyfle ichi ddweud eich dweud am yr hyn sydd bwysicaf i chi mewn perthynas â gofal cymdeithasol, iechyd, addysg a meysydd eraill o Lywodraeth sydd wedi’u datganoli yng Nghymru.

Day 5 - Friday 11 February / Diwrnod 5 - Dydd Gwener 11 Chwefror

10am/yb -11.30am/yb - Plenary with Deputy Minister for Social Services and an Expert Panel / Cyfarfod Llawn gyda’r Dirprwy Weinidog dros Wasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Phanel Arbenigol

Everyone who has attended one or more sessions from the week is invited to attend the plenary session and hear what is discussed put to an expert panel.

Gwahoddir pawb sydd wedi mynychu un neu fwy o sesiynau o’r wythnos i ddod i’r sesiwn lawn a chlywed yr hyn a drafodir yn cael ei roi gerbron panel o arbenigwyr.
