Below you can find a draft agenda which is yet to be finalised.
The 2017 annual Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES) Conference will focus on the Scottish Government's Energy Strategy consultation and how community energy can be a key player in Scotland's energy future.
The free event will take place in Stirling on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th April 2017 at the Golden Lion Hotel, 8-10 King Street, Stirling.
Our agenda has been designed to allow delegates to choose to attend 26th or 27th or both days.
- Day one will look at Scotland's Energy Strategy, taking a local focus. We will hear from an expert panel, joined by Mr Wheelhouse, Minister for Business, Innovation and Energy at the Scottish Government.
- Day two is an opportunity to explore topics in depth, covering finance, technical issues, project management and a range of other subjects. Hear from groups who have learnt from experience, and professionals in the sector.
While we are pleased to offer the CARES conference as a free event to attend, please note that any delegates who book a space and do not show to the conference will be invoiced £35 per day.
