Event description

Description

This event is one in a series of four Carlisle Culture Conversations to explore and test new ideas about what future cultural provision in Carlisle should be and what new opportunities could be delivered through a strategic approach to decision-making, cultural commissioning and investing in culture. It is organised by the interim Carlisle Culture Steering Group and funded by Arts Council England.

WHY ATTEND?

A panel of guest speakers including Dr Paul Counter, Clinical Director at North Cumbria NHS Trust and representative of special interest group developing Healing Arts programmes in hospitals, will discuss and explore with the audience what needs to happen to support the growth and development of Carlisle through a culture-led strategy that enables and promotes health and wellbeing.

This event is valuable for anyone working in health provision and culture programming in and around Carlisle if you want to find out about and contribute your ideas to Arts + Culture for Health and Wellbeing.

Event registration will be open from 1.30pm with formal proceedings starting at 2.00pm.
