This event is one in a series of four Carlisle Culture Conversations to explore and test new ideas about what future cultural provision in Carlisle should be and what new opportunities could be delivered through a strategic approach to investing in culture, decision-making and cultural commissioning. It is organised by the interim Carlisle Culture Steering Group and funded by Arts Council England.

WHY ATTEND?

This event is designed to support discussion and debate concerning Carlisle's creative and cultural economy and will attempt to tackle some big questions, including:

What does Carlisle's creative and cultural economy look like and how does it work?

What is driving change?

With the right investment model, what can the creative and cultural economy contribute to the growth of Carlisle?

A panel of guest speakers will contribute their experience to help develop Carlisle's current thinking about its creative and cultural economy. Speakers include:
