About this event

Carmen Vettoretti – The Art of Healing through Clay

Join us for a powerful and inspiring exhibition by Carmen Vettoretti, UEL alumna and forensic psychology graduate, as she shares her journey from supporting survivors of domestic abuse to discovering the healing power of pottery.

Working in the public sector as a caseworker, Carmen has dedicated her career to helping individuals through some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. But it was through the quiet, grounding process of working with clay that she found her own path to healing.

This exhibition explores how creativity can become a sanctuary. Through her deeply personal ceramic works, Carmen reveals how pottery became both therapy and self-expression—a way to process emotion, rediscover balance, and transform pain into beauty.

Carmen will be available from 1pm to 4pm on Friday to talk through her journey and work
