Welcome to the Collaborative Action Research Network (CARN) Conference from 11th-13th November 2016. Bishop Grosseteste University offers you a warm welcome to the conference in the historic city of Lincoln.
The CARN International conference is very well established in the action research community, with a reputation for high quality research and scholarship. The conference is a space where people interested in action research in education and other social sciences from around the world meet in a dynamic and supportive atmosphere which celebrates collaborative and participatory approaches to research. Individuals are invited to share the intellectual challenges and curiosity that drives their research in various professional contexts, including education, health and social work. Bishop Grosseteste University is a small university in the heart of Lincoln close to the City Centre where Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln castle are a five minute walk from the University.
A pre-conference interactive workshop on ‘Building Trust in Action Research’ is also offered on Thursday 10th November 2016 led by the Action Research Network of the Americas (ARNA) The workshop is free of charge to conference attendees, but spaces are limited so an early booking is advised.
