The theme for the workshop is: ‘Public Participation: Exploring resources for inclusive and decolonial approaches to participation'.

Each participant is invited to share a method from their own work that has been used to enable/enahnce public participation. Together, we will map out these methods to uncover the emerging ecology of participatory methods relative to our work. Through generative conversations we will further explore tensions in the way we approach and undertake research using collaborative and participatory methods. We will finish with a sharing circle for reflection on how different methods might advance our understandings of inclusive and decolonial approaches to participation.

The session will be held at Camberwell College of Arts (Peckham Rd) in room B401B and all post-doctoral and emerging researchers are very welcome.

It’s also a great way of meeting researchers from across UAL who share a passion for collaborative research!
