CultureMix Arts is a not for profit carnival music and arts company specialising in combining business skills development with creative learning. The CultureMix Arts & Music Centre is based in central Reading, Berkshire and is home to RASPO Steel Orchestra, The Reading Reggae Collective, the schools music education programme, and the Creative Business Hub.

Carnival season continues this June and July at <a href="https://culturemixarts.co.uk/who-we-are/culturemix-arts-music-centre/" title="https://culturemixarts.co.uk/who-we-are/culturemix-arts-music-centre/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">CultureMix Arts &amp; Music Centre</a> with soca dance and fitness classes with Krystle. Join us on our 'journey 2 carnival' with 4 dance workshops on Saturday's 12, 19, 26 July, 2 Aug 2025.Bring your flag, your water bottle and get ready to practice your carnival dance moves to some Soca beats. By the end of the sessions you'll be 'ready for de road'CultureMix Arts' annual <a href="https://culturemixarts.co.uk/entertainment/events-showcases/carnival-of-the-world-2024/" title="https://culturemixarts.co.uk/entertainment/events-showcases/carnival-of-the-world-2024/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Carnival of the World </a>event returns to Broad Street Reading on Saturday 9 August from 11am to 12pm, featuring a live stage, the Broad Street Carnival Parade and a Caribbean Bar. If you would like to join us for the parade please contact the CultureMix Arts office on 0118 9587351 or register your interest at one of the dance classes.Attendees must be 12 years or older. All under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.Please note that the workshop space at the Arts &amp; Music Centre is not wheelchair accessible.
