Join Carolina Rabei, illustrator of A Story of the Seasons for an interactive nature walk and draw-along event that will bring this stunning book to life.

Get creative, as you learn to draw and colour some of the incredible creatures and animals from the book and get inspired to learn more about the natural world in every season.

This event is a family event and aimed at children of primary school age.

ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR

Ever since she was very small, Carolina Rabei has loved drawing. After attaining a BA in Graphic Design in Moldova, she received a distinction in Children’s Book Illustration from the prestigious Cambridge School of Art. 

Carolina is known for building worlds of warmth and heart in the books she illustrates. She lives near Cambridge with her husband and son.

This events starts from the courtyard inside Hatchlands Park. If you show your tickets to staff at the Hatchlands Park entrance you will be directed down to the courtyard and cafe area.

Please allow enough time to walk down to the courtyard with young children (roughly 10-15 minutes with young children).

Please note numbers are strictly limited so early booking is recommended.
