Ronald McDonald House Charities are holding their 2016 annual carol service on 6 December in aid of supporting families with children in hospital.
The service will be full of Christmas cheer, complete with carols, festive readings and the lighting of the advent candle.
Doors open at 5.30pm, ready for the service to begin at 6.30pm. The service will be approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Each year an outstanding programme of performers, along with hundreds of supporters, visit St Martin-in-the-Fields and light up Trafalgar Square with their Christmas spirit. And all in aid of an incredible cause...
Having a sick child in a specialist hospital far from home is an incredibly stressful time. Parents want to spend each minute possible with their ill son or daughter. To be near the hospital, families have to either travel miles to and from home each day, sleep in chairs, corridors or cars or pay vast sums for hotels. This is where Ronald McDonald House Charities step in to help them through this frightening trauma. We provide a vital safe and comfortable place for these families to stay free of charge for as long as they and their child need us. Our Ronald McDonald Houses can make an unbearable time for families just that little more bearable by offering the familiarities of a home just moments away from their child’s ward.
Join us on 6 December to be part of this uplifting carol service and help us keep families together so children in hospital can receive the love and comfort they need.
