Event description

Description

Celebrate Christmas at St Bride's Church with Elizabeth's Legacy of Hope!

We are delighted to invite you to a candlelit evening of carols, festive readings and mulled wine. For the third year, ELoH is hosting their Carol Service to raise vital funds for child amputees in developing countries.

*** UPDATE: The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan is reading at this year's event ***

The Carol Service will take place in St Bride's Church - the spiritual home of journalists and newspapers. St Bride's is one of the most famous historic churches in London, with one of the best professional choirs in the country.

Listen to beautiful singing and readings by our special guests: Daily Telegraph Editor Chris Evans, best-selling children's author Ian Whybrow, Times columnist Matthew Parris, and RAF amputee veteran Duncan Slater, and Mayor of London Sadiq Khan.

You will also hear inspiring speeches about the children whose lives we are changing, together. Afterwards you are welcome to join us for mulled wine and mince pies.

This is a free charity concert but we encourage you to make a donation to support the children in our projects. The money raised will make sure they can access prosthetics, surgery, education and social support. If you are booking for friends and family, please ask them to make an online donation or donate on the night.

Timings: Doors will open at 6pm and we encourage you to arrive early. The Carol Service will be held between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, and the reception starts straight just after.

Thank you - we hope to see you on the 30th November!
