Come and join us for ... Carols in the Courtyard! Carol singing, a choir, hog roast and of course some mulled wine, plus a special guest!

About this event

Feeling festive? This is your chance to sing some of your favourite carols and enjoy the sound of the Chester and District Male Voice Choir at Eaton Courtyard. After the singing, enjoy a delicious hog roast, a mince pie and a glass of mulled wine. If you are good, a special guest may even make a visit!

  • This event is open to employees and their families/guests only.
  • Numbers are limited at this event due to the number of car parking spaces at the Courtyard.
  • Eaton staff are permitted to book one car ticket only, subject to availability. (Anyone you invite needs to travel to the Courtyard with you in one vehicle only).
  • Access is via the Eccleston/Aldford Gates only.
  • This is an open-air event so wrap up warm! We will go ahead in the Open Courtyard even if there is drizzle. The event will only be relocated to the covered courtyard between the open archways if it is raining.
  • In order to arrange the catering, when booking you will be asked to confirm the number of guests you are bringing in your car, also advising the number of children aged 12 and under within your party. Children will be catered for separately.
  • Don't forget to advise any special dietary requirements.
  • Christmas jumpers optional but encouraged!
  • Please contact eaton.events@grosvenor.com if you required a disabled parking space or have any other queries.
  • If for any reason you have a family member/guest travelling separately, please arrange to rendezvous with your guest prior to driving to the Courtyard (e.g you are permitted to leave cars in the Estate Office back car park and collect after the event). We are unable to accommodate more than one car per booking at the Courtyard - thank you. Please let Security know about any family/friends arriving at the outer gate if they are arriving at Eaton Park without an employee present.

COVID-19

The health, safety and welfare of our visitors, as well as our colleagues, and contractors will, as always, remain our priority. Please see below for a number of measures we have put in place:

Prior to the event

Testing. We would encourage anyone visiting aged 12 and above to take a lateral flow (LFD) test, ideally within 24 hours of attending the event.

Attendance. At the time of writing, in accordance with government guidance, we ask you to please not attend this event if you have received a positive Covid-19 test result in the last ten days or if you have been contacted by NHS Test & Trace and asked to isolate. In addition, we would ask that if you have or display any of the three main symptoms of Covid-19 (see below) you should not attend the event.

Symptoms:

  • A high temperature - this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back. You do not need to measure your temperature.
  • A new, continuous cough - this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or three or more coughing episodes in 24 hours. If you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual.
  • Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste - this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal.

On the day

  • There will be a number of measures implemented on the day to make this event as safe as possible.

Hand sanitiser. Hand sanitiser will be available at various points throughout the event.

Cleaning regimes. We shall be implementing enhanced cleaning regimes in the toilets in line with government guidance.

Social distancing. Please make space for other guests and avoid overcrowding popular areas of the event.

NHS Test & Trace/Contact tracing. We will have the contact details for your party via the Eventbrite ticketing system but there will be opportunities to check in. If required we may need to provide NHS Test and Trace with contact details held in the Eventbrite ticketing system to help minimise the transmission of COVID-19 and support public health and safety.
