Have you ever watched someone draw a cartoon right in front of you – to help explain a point, or just to bring an idea to life? If you have, you’ll know what a powerful method of communication a simple drawing can be.
Being able to draw out your ideas enables other people to really 'see what you mean'. And when you're looking for a way to communicate a complex idea simply and powerfully, a cartoon can distil and capture its essence like nothing else.
If you’d like to be able to draw cartoons to help you get your message across - for example in presenting, training, facilitating, or consulting - then this is the workshop for you.
Learn how to:
- use the simplicity of cartoons to get across complex ideas and information
- develop your drawing skills and tap into your natural visual thinking abilities
- use visual metaphors to make make your message stick
- turn abstract ideas into pictures that bring them to life.
In the workshop you will learn the fundamentals of cartoon drawing with experienced professional cartoonist and trainer, Martin Shovel. This includes how to draw your own ‘live’ cartoons, and how to develop your own visual metaphors to help get your message across.
You will have a chance to apply what you've learned to your own work, and you will get plenty of individual attention and feedback.
A maximum group size of eight ensures individual attention - so book your place now!
