Starting to offer computing in your school curriculum?

Come along to the first CAS Durham Hub Meeting, Durham Leadership Centre, 6th May 2014, 16.15 – 18.00

Bringing primary and secondary practitioners together to plan for the introduction of the new computing curriculum.

A CAS hub is a meeting of teachers and lecturers who wish to share their ideas for developing the teaching of computing in their schools, their classrooms and their community.

It is a meeting of like-minded professionals with the general objective of supporting each other and the specific aim of providing (at least) one idea that can be taken and tried in the classroom.

Come along and share your thoughts on future meetings and useful CPD - All Welcome.

At the first meeting there will be computing teachers from local primary and secondary schools, the regional STEM representative, and input from Dr Steven Bradley, University of Durham, to discuss what the University can offer local schools, and Dr Nick Cook,University of Newcastle, to discuss the CAS Network of Excellence and co-ordination of regional events.

We look forward to seeing you at the event. Light refreshments available.
