About this event

This case law masterclass with an expert facilitator will compare different case law examples to offer practical guidance on the complex issues arising from harassment claims made to Employment Tribunals.

Employees often cite bullying and harassment, not realising the legal issues are different. Since October 2024, employers have had additional requirements to demonstrate they are protecting staff from sexual harassment.

Employment Tribunals have considered harassment under all the protected characteristics, taking each characteristic separately. There are examples where harassment has arisen from more than one protected characteristic: intersectional harassment. Maria Gallucci from Woodfines Solicitors llp will facilitate this interactive workshop giving examples from case law which lead to the practical methods for organisations to ensure organisations treat staff fairly.

This will be an interactive session, discussing practical examples as well as sharing good ideas for positive improvements for people professionals at work.
