About this event

Science & Tech • Other

Incremental Sheet Forming (ISF) opens up new opportunities for flexible manufacturing of complex and free-form geometries without the need of moulds or dies. ISF is particularly suitable for customised and low-volume production.

What you will gain from attending this workshop:

  • Research Advancements: gain information of recent advances in developing ISF technology for potential industrial applications.
  • Technical Insights: gain knowledge from case studies of ISF-formed parts with hard-to-form materials and complex geometries.
  • Applications: explore potentials to apply ISF technology to expand your manufacturing capabilities to minimise costs and maximise efficiency.
  • Expert Guidance: benefit from the knowledge and support of the UKRI EPSRC RV-ISF Project Team, consisting of University of Sheffield, Sheffield AMRC, University of Manchester, and University of Nottingham.
